My Go-To Door Bows Right Now (And Why I Love Them)
Share
Over the last few months, Jake and I have been having a lot of fun designing a plethora of new door bow patterns for you to see here at A Bow or Two. Now, with 14 different bow patterns listed on our site, I wanted to share two of my favorite bows with you, along with how I've been using them in everything from my front door to my visitor's bedroom!
The Bow That Goes with Everything: White Linen
First up is our white linen door bow. This decorative bow is the most versatile bow option we have, good for everyday use without looking too casual. I absolutely LOVE how the white pops on my dark front doors, especially when I combined the bows with a wreath and other porch greenery.

Even though the bow works well with all types of everyday decor, the bow is also classy enough that it's a great option for dressing up special events like a bridal shower or reception. It is, quite literally, the bow that goes with everything!
Classic Navy with a Twist: Navy Polka Dot
As much as I love our white linen bow, there's a second bow that's also won my heart recently. Our navy polka dot bow is different from other bow patterns we've released. It departs from our classic gingham and floral patterns, and that has made it a really fun bow to experiment with.

I've been using it to brighten my entryways, particularly now that it's summertime and we've pulled out the 4th of July/Labor Day decor. The polka dot print has been a fun addition, mixing up the checkered and striped prints that are usually part of summer patriotic decorations.
From the Front Door and Beyond: How I'm Using Them
The nice thing about these two door bows is that they are super versatile. I've used them in lots of different places besides my front door. For example, I've hung the polka dot one on my fireplace mantel, which was super cute, and also placed the white linen on my really large stove hood. Both displays acted as a really nice focal point for the space!

I've also:
- Hung these bows in a guest room, where I placed one above the head of each bed
- Used them to decorate a bench display
- Tied them to the front of big topiary plants to spruce up a vendor display
If you've used your own bows in other ways, let me know! I love seeing how people use our bows to decorate their spaces and make them their own. People are always coming up with ideas that I'd never considered before.
Two Great Options
Whether you prefer the clean, crisp look of the white linen or the summer charm of navy polka dot, you can't go wrong with either of these two door bows. I obviously couldn't pick just one favorite, so let me know: which of the two bows is your favorite?
